Verify your identity on Alt Pro

Alt Pro takes identity verification seriously to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. This multi-step process helps ensure the validity of your account and protects against fraud.

Before you move on

  • To keep your account secure and maintain our reputation as a trusted cryptocurrency platform, you'll need to verify your identification through the Alt Pro website. We can't accept ID documents sent via email.

Verify your identity

To buy, trade, convert, and more, you'll need to complete basic verification, which takes as little as two minutes.

Before starting, make sure that you've created and secured your account (if you have not, click here to learn how).

  1. If you are continuing straight from the account creation stage, you can skip to step 3 below. Otherwise, visit your Account Dashboard (Click the Verify identity on the top right side of the screen, or click User profile).

  2. To get started, click Continue to proceed. You’ll be asked for the following information.

  3. Select the device. (Easier on mobile)

  4. To update your information, fill out the form with your personal details and then click the "Next" button. The final step is to upload a picture of your ID. It may take up to a few hours for your upload to be processed.

  5. You’ll receive an email confirmation when the verification has been completed.

Keys to Success When Verifying Your Account

To make sure you have a successful experience registering your Alt Pro account, here are some tips to keep in mind. In case you run into any problems during the registration process, you'll find helpful solutions to some of the most frequent issues below.

  1. Make sure the information you provide during sign-up matches the details on your documents. The information you give us needs to be exactly the same as what's on the documents you submit.

  2. Check that your documents are current. The documents you submit must be completely up-to-date. If they are expired or can't be seen clearly from corner to corner, the system will not accept them and consider them invalid.

  3. If you are having trouble uploading your ID;

    • When taking your selfie and ID photos, make sure the lighting is good. Poor lighting, like having a light source behind you, will make it hard for our systems to see your face clearly. Low-quality photos can also cause problems.

    • We recommend taking your ID photos with the ID placed against a dark background.

    • Please ensure that your ID Document is valid and not-expired.

    • If you're having trouble uploading or taking your photos on a computer, please submit your documents through mobile.

  • Your full name

  • Email address associated with your account

  • Any additional information that can assist us in identifying you and your transaction, such as transaction ID or account number.

We require this information to open a Customer Service ticket. Without it, your complaint email will be considered premature and will not receive a response.
